special olympics

Yesterday I had the opportunity to be part of the "special olympics" our stake got together with the special needs mutual and we all went to lone peak highschool to have a special olympics. It was quite a night I will tell you. In the end we all stood around the track and listened to I am a child of God while the special kids walked out. I have to admit it was a really great experience. I am very glad to be a part of a ward and even a stake that has such a high awareness of the special needs youth. It is wonderful to get to know such honest and loving kids. Also I lied up there, my shoes actually started out tan not white, but they were definitely a lot lighter. Lone peak is a very wet and  muddy place.
