Posts are pointless without pictures.

So how about this one:

This year is a game changer.
Lets review 1st term:
Not trying to brag or anything, but
my highest score was an 102
it was in biology.
Biology is not my strong suit.
I've never worked so hard in one class.
Have you ever tried working hard?
It's a pretty cool thing.
Miss Parson was why I decided to like school again.
Well, at least to stop complaining about it.
I was pretty defenseless against her Oprah videos.
Have you ever tried being grateful?
It's a pretty cool thing.
Mrs. Lund was the reason I decided that doing my best
Is better than being the best.
English Honors was a good idea.
Have you ever tried doing your best?
It's a pretty cool thing.
One last thing.
I'm not perfect.
I can't talk to boys,
I get jealous,
I can't really sing
or dance.
and I don't play the piano in seminary.
But I decided something.
I've got time.
I will grow as fast as I want to.
And it will be great.
Have you ever tried being great?
It's a pretty cool thing.

I think you are great. And smart and kind and sweet. :) You grow up as fast as you want to. I couldn't talk to boys when I was your age either. That didn't come until my sophmore year of high school, and even then it was just the one. Senior year was when I finally stopped being intimidated by them. And then I started being intimidated as soon as I went to college because they were all scary RM's. Don't worry. :)

I think you are great too! Guess what, you and me, we are loners. It's ok. You know what else? I like you the way you are, a ton!

Have you ever tried being best friends with an awesome person? It's a pretty cool thing.

I love that you want to be excellent. You are MY daughter after all. Actually, you are far more excellent than I am. You are obviously Heavenly Father's daughter. The one thing I want you to watch for is people who will want to belittle you because you choose to be excellent. It hurts when people you think are your friends try to get you to be small. Don't let them get to you. Be the divine that is in you. Be all that Heavenly Father wants you to be and you will attract the excellent people that you want to be with. I love you dear daughter Janna.
