Reindeer are better than people.

Please enjoy just a few of my Christmas ramblings:

God gave me Goat Santa so I would avoid Santa at Christmas time and instead think about Christ.
Goat Santa is from a show called "Grim" which I shouldn't have watched because it freaked me out and gave me an irrational fear of Santa Claus. I may have boycotted Santa a little this year, and without him I finally realize what a huge symbol of Christmas he is. That is something I think is dumb. I think Christ should be the biggest symbol of Christmas out there, not Santa, and certainly not Goat Santa.

I like to sing Frozen songs and plan on building snowmen I will never probably never build. But if I did build a snowman he would have a drink in his hand, and his snow up against the burning sand, probably getting gorgeously tan in sumer! Wait what? Did I just quote Frozen again?

My favorite Sherlock Holmes is The Case of the Blue Carbuncle. It makes me think of Christmas eve nights making puzzles and cooking the Christmas breakfast for the next day. It hardly even has anything in it about Christmas, but I will forever think fondly of memories of Christmas. "My name is Sherlock Holmes, and it is my business to know things that other people don't."

I hope you enjoy Christmas as I do. I hope you don't let Goat Santa get to you and distract you from the true meaning. I also hope that you don't let petty things distract you from important things like singing Frozen songs and Christmas traditions, Satan tries hard to stop family from making good memories. I don't think that there has been any Christmas where he didn't try something. I hope you have the strength to ignore it. Merry Christmas.

Hipsterween

I guess it was a holiday or something because Hannah and I dressed up as missionaries. For the win.

Basically Nancy Drew has taken over my entire life. I have no time for anything else except maybe candy. Halloween was too good to me.

My favorite thing about fall is that the stars come out at about 6:30 and so after dinner I can just sit around craning my neck getting lost in the stars.

Sick as a dog is how I live each day. Just sitting around, feeling awful nasty, but those who don't complain are never pitied. It's a shame I all too often complain.

My artistic tendencies have dried up completely. Two weeks ago I was all for drawing and painting but now all I want to do is curl up in bed and watch Pride and Prejudice.

Food is my best friend. Food understands. Food doesn't make me do homework. Food doesn't flirt with boys instead of talking to me. Food has my back. I love you, Food.

They say "It's going to snow soon." In my language that means "Yeah basically, it's Christmas right now, you should probably pull out the nativities."

Some people call me lazy but they don't know that every day I work very hard to improve my most pronounced skill. It takes hard work and effort to be this good at procrastinating.

That's it for now folks, I've got to move on now to something else that can distract me from what I should actually be doing.

Nothing

Well now, a friend of mine informed me that I needed to post, so I guess here you go.

I think that some people have a hard time getting up in the morning because the devil really doesn't want to deal with them that day. Just remember that when you accidentally sleep in until 12.

Sometimes when I pray about having a good day the Lord answers it by giving me food in every class period. I guess He knows me well.

One of my teachers started talking about how girls and boys think about different things. I guess I got a little distracted because all I was thinking about was pizza.

Who else thinks it should be Christmas right now? I get random Christmas feelings all the time. I'll be walking down the hall and then all the sudden I'm like "Is it Christmas?" People try to talk to me and all I hear is "Christmas, Christmas, Christmas."

Hope you liked this random and sporadic post, it's whatever. Posts are kinda like hiccups, nobody can make them start or stop. Anyways hope you have a Christmas day. What?

Blue

Things that make one feel blue:

1. The day after Christmas
2. Blue candy canes

But I guess it's ok, because it gives me a good excuse to wear my "It's a Monday" sweatshirt and listen to Of Monsters and Men.
Have a very Merry Boxing day.
(aka the day you realize that Christmas is 365 days away)
Just remember
New Years is just around the corner.

Wise men still seek Him

Hey Folks!
Its been a while.
The business at my house these past couple of days has been off the charts.
My sister got married
And my house turned into a hotel.
I hope you are all settled down and comfortable on your seat
because this is going to be a long post.
I'm hoping that if I chunk it up you might actually read it.

I have a nice story to tell you.
At the beginning of this month I decided that my focus should be to remember the true meaning of Christmas.
Well needless to say, that kinda got a little swept away with wedding plans and cleaning and everything but I once everyone drove off to their regular homes I realized that I had found the true meaning of Christmas without even trying.
3 families stayed with us
11 people
3 babies

In case you're wondering that is a heck of a lot of people for one house that usually consists of 3.
Nobody slept in their regular bed.
Cammie and I got moved to Jeffrey's room
Jeffrey got booted to the couch
and in my room was my cousin, his wife and their baby.

That's a mother, her husband and her baby.
Lets think of another family that looks like this shall we?
how about Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.
Once I realized this;
I was really quite happy to give up my bedroom.
Wouldn't I do the same for the newborn king?
I decided that they had given me the best gift of all,
the gift of giving.

So that is what the true meaning of Christmas is to me.
The true meaning of Christmas is giving the room in our hearts for Christ.
The true meaning of Christmas is giving our time for Him.
The true meaning of Christmas is to give to others, because we would do the same for Him.

So If you got through that mouthful of a post and you have finally landed on this here last paragraph then I am, 1st of all proud of you, and 2nd of all going to give you a challenge.
Don't worry, it's not hard.
My challenge for you, is when you get back to school, and everyone is talking about what they got for Christmas, and what they did.
My challenge is that you will ask them instead of
"what did you get?"
ask them;
"What did you give?"

Cheers all and I hope you have a very merry Christmas!

Sue me...

Me and Kristin are on the same page.
I never used to be the person who listened to Christmas music 3 months before the actual holiday.
But then one day Brooklyn said to me
"Do you know what I'm excited for?
"Christmas music. It's the happiest music"
Then when I got home, Christmas with Scotty Mccreery was in the "what's new" section
What would you have done?
I now have a Christmas music addiction.
Mother will be so disappointed in me
