Not all that is gold glitters.

Well JRR Tolkien says that  "not all that is gold glitters" but there has been a lot of gold in my life lately, so I thought I'd better decide what glitters and what doesn't.

Gold that does glitter:

-My Divine Nature sign for New Beginnings

-The paper crowns Emily and I spray painted

-The Jars Emily and I are using

-The hipster banner I made

-Basically everything I have prepared for New Beginnings

Gold that doesn't glitter:

-Trips to St. George with my family

-Pizza runs on fridays

-The combination of good shoes and well done hair

-Planning lessons on who you are

-Advertising and Commercial art

-Weeks full of simple joys to get me through

Please enjoy your week and watch for the gold that doesn't glitter. I know it's hard, especially when you have 3 tests and a project within two days and drivers ed on top of that, but I think if you keep yourself close to God, He will get you through all that you can't on your own.

How do we not fade away?

I decided that this summer I will search out adventures.

More awkwardness and some screen shots

Lets just say there have been a lot of these things lately:

Here are some awkward happenings of late:

I've become a marriage counselor. It's fine.

My parents know more about my life than I do. 

A kid stole a note out of my pocket and he may or may not have been in it.
Now I know why ladies used to wear nothing but skirts and dresses.
Can you say Awkward?

I wear an unusual amount of polka-dots to YW in excellence.
Basically my reasoning is this;
I want to wear this skirt.
I also want to wear these tights.
They don't match.
Wear them anyways.

I got myself some "swag" in the assembly today from the star of the show
American Ride.
Buffs that say BYUtv on them are pretty cool.

People look at you funny when you hide in the Relief Society room
drawing a map of the United States on the bored.
I do whatever I can to study.
Speaking of which;
I have found the best way for me to study.
I quiz someone else who knows nothing about the subject
then while they try and figure out the answer I scream it at them.
It's quite effective.

Well here's to awkwardness kids.

what do we think?

For young womens we are having an activity where everyone brings a toping for a pizza and we eat them. Yummy right? Thank our lovely president Brooke, well it is my job to  make a sign up sheet for the girls to write down what topping they are going to bring. what do we think? too confusing

modest is hottest

The Young men in my stake made the young women this video. They played it during our modesty fashion show. I sat on the floor and peed my pants for laughing. Plus Survivor started and my yearbook hoodie comes on Monday. Also, my mother just purchased two tickets to go see The Avengers at the watergarden. The avengers for three dollars and fifty cents, within walking/biking distance. My life is complete. 

Being made the miamaid secretary is ok by me.
I already have 2 assignments.
1: make a pizza topping sign up list.

2: make a flyer for preparation for the evening of excellence.
