what summer taught me and why I haven't written in so long.

This summer my camera and my laptop were broken. Honestly, it was the best summer of my life. I realized how much more important it is to live in the moment than to be constantly recording everything. Maybe you won't remember the moments as easily, but they will be so much meaningful. 

JULY

Woah. Has a whole month already gone by without me writting on here? I am a terrible blogger. My apologies. July has been a very great month which is why I haven't been blogging. There just seems to be so many other things to do. Let me enlighten you on what's been going on this month:

-I visited Disneyland with my family

-I started my first job

-I traveled to Utah State for EFY

-I floated down the Provo river

-My best friend turned 16

-I said goodbye to my older brother

-He became a missionary

-I took way too many pictures

-I lit a bike on fire

-I went on a mildy awkward date

-I taught the young women a lesson

-I took the freeway for the first time

-I celebrated Harry Potter's birthday

Hopefully I'll manage to post a bit more this month. Maybe I'll even get some pictures. Anyway enjoy your month and don't get too caught up in this silly online thing.

oh de lally, oh de lally, golly what a day

Day one of summer went a little bit like this:
Breakfast, temple, swimming, snow cones, softball, photoshoots, cousins, and more snow cones.

Even though summer vacation doesn't officially start until tomorrow, I've already found myself doing loads of fantastic summer things. I've gone hiking twice (Kasia is going to kill me when she finds out I took this picture), to an outdoor movie, and am soon off to the pool. Three cheers for summer 2014. 

Just a few things that have happened over the past few weeks/months that i've neglected to tell you:

• I got out of school. First year of highschool-done.
• I bought loads of makeup because I'm an addict and enabler. 
• I went on vacation.
• I wrote to a missionary to the horror of my sister. I refused to read her the letter. 
• I took a friend to breakfast and spilled Kneaders on my pants.
• I got my drivers license. 
• I went on my first date.
• I realized that my brother was going to be leaving for two years. 
• I cried a little about that. 

Fortune Favors the Brave

Summer so far has been great fantastic perfect

Last week I took a creative writing class and learned that 9:00 is too early for me to write. 

This month in June I learned that adventure is not hard to find. 

I've gone hiking, swimming, camping, biking. 

I've hung out with family, and friends. 

July is promising to be even better. 

What a great invention summer was. 

5 stars for that one. 

The things of summer

Pro: Nice weather.

Con: 105 degree weather.

Pro: Long days.

Con: Long days.

Pro: Pool passes.

Con: Sunburns.

Pro: Sleeping in.

Pro: Staying up late.

Pro: Naps.

Con: All that sleep makes you act like a potato.

Pro: Watching TV all day. 

Con: The previous mentioned potato.

Pro: No need to get ready. 

Con: Sometimes it's nice to get ready.

Pro: 3 whole months.

Con: Only 3 months. 

Pro: Plenty of time to hang out with friends.

Con: The 4 hours that you just wasted on the internet. 

I'm yours and that's it. Whatever.

I have blogging constipation.
I'm determined to make a post.
Lately I watch Master Chef.
I make myself dinner midnight snacks.
That's all I can squeeze out for now. 

How do we not fade away?

I decided that this summer I will search out adventures.

So far so good.
