JULY

Woah. Has a whole month already gone by without me writting on here? I am a terrible blogger. My apologies. July has been a very great month which is why I haven't been blogging. There just seems to be so many other things to do. Let me enlighten you on what's been going on this month:

-I visited Disneyland with my family

-I started my first job

-I traveled to Utah State for EFY

-I floated down the Provo river

-My best friend turned 16

-I said goodbye to my older brother

-He became a missionary

-I took way too many pictures

-I lit a bike on fire

-I went on a mildy awkward date

-I taught the young women a lesson

-I took the freeway for the first time

-I celebrated Harry Potter's birthday

Hopefully I'll manage to post a bit more this month. Maybe I'll even get some pictures. Anyway enjoy your month and don't get too caught up in this silly online thing.

Aspire Higher

Summer opens up opportunities for spiritual growth that the school year cannot. Whether it's girlscamp or just a day at the temple, I will always enjoy finding ways to feel the spirit this summer. While having adventures and finding a job and such are important things about summer, don't let your priorities get messed up, don't let a day pass you where you have neglected to take the time to feel the spirit in your life.

Day one of summer went a little bit like this:
Breakfast, temple, swimming, snow cones, softball, photoshoots, cousins, and more snow cones.

Even though summer vacation doesn't officially start until tomorrow, I've already found myself doing loads of fantastic summer things. I've gone hiking twice (Kasia is going to kill me when she finds out I took this picture), to an outdoor movie, and am soon off to the pool. Three cheers for summer 2014.

Just a few things that have happened over the past few weeks/months that i've neglected to tell you:

• I got out of school. First year of highschool-done.
• I bought loads of makeup because I'm an addict and enabler. 
• I went on vacation.
• I wrote to a missionary to the horror of my sister. I refused to read her the letter. 
• I took a friend to breakfast and spilled Kneaders on my pants.
• I got my drivers license. 
• I went on my first date.
• I realized that my brother was going to be leaving for two years. 
• I cried a little about that. 

The Truth

The truth is I have no idea how to explain my life right now.

Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb.

Once upon a time I gate crashed a party, cut my chin on a tree and drove around until my curfew. The End.
Once upon a time I invited the most awkward people ever over and tried very hard to ride away on my bicycle. The End.
Once upon a time I partied hard at a stake dance and joined in when they started the High School Musical dance. The End.
Once upon a time I just sat around and made art all day and forgot to shower which was gross. The End.
Once upon a time I drove down to Provo because I wanted to be around my sister more than my friends. The End.
Once upon a time I stayed up all night reading The Importance of Being Earnest and laughed my head off. The End.
Once upon a time I had a million of things to post about, but didn't post any of them, and I realized how nice that is. The End.
